Pelvic Pain Relief Live Stream Class

 

Pelvic pain Relief live stream class: Do you suffer from Pelvic pain and/or  Pelvic floor dysfunction?.  Are the muscles of your pelvic floor and abdominal wall over tight and contributing to your  pain?  Have you been told you have a hypertonic pelvic floor?  This class was designed for you.  Please join me for a 60 minute class to educate you on how to reduce tension in the pelvic floor and abdominal wall that may be contributing to your pain.

What you will learn

This class will introduce you to:   

A overview of the anatomy of the pelvic floor

Breathing techniques and how the diaphragm and pelvic floor are related

Education on relaxation of the pelvic floor and abdominal wall

Specific Yoga positions for a healthy pelvis and to reduce pelvic pain

Self massage techniques for the abdominal wall 

Decompression exercise to reduce pressure from the pelvic organs

What is pelvic pain?

Pelvic pain is pain in the pelvis, anterior abdominal wall, low back, buttocks or pelvic floor of at least 6 months duration that is serious enough to cause disability or lead to medical care. This is a very large area and encompasses many body systems including reproductive, bowel, urinary, gynecological, and musculoskeletal.  The pain can be due to disease or injury from these areas or referred from related areas like the back or hips.  Some examples of conditions that refer pain to this area are:  coccydynia, interstitial cystitis, Diastasis Recti, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

 Pelvic power and strengthening live stream class: Do you suffer from loss of bladder control when you sneeze or cough?  Do you have to rush to the bathroom and sometimes do not make it in time? Please join me for a 60 min live virtual class on a pelvic floor program to help increase your pelvic strength to improve your control over your bladder.

Who should attend:

Anyone interested in learning more about how to keep your pelvic floor muscles healthy, especially those who have experienced bladder and or bowel leakage(incontinence) or prolapse

What you will learn

 This class will introduce you to:

Pelvic floor anatomy and  proper movement of the pelvic floor muscles

Breathing and your pelvic floor and why it is important to not be guarded in your muscles at rest, 

A discussion of  different types of Urinary Incontinence

Signs and symptoms, causes that lead to Urinary incontinence,

A review of bladder irritants

An  exercise program that you can start with right away to help strengthen your core.
